The Cabin
You play as a detective investigating a cabin that has turned up in a murder investigation. Little did you know, that upon entering, the murderer was still inside and has locked you inside! Try to escape before he manages to make you his next victim.
A point-and-click adventure game created with students at Protege Game Studios, of which I oversaw the puzzle design and built the engine code from scratch.
If you pause the game, you can access a full walkthrough if you get stuck on any of the puzzles (revealed incrementally). If you happen to lose, you can always retry from where you left off.

I had a lot of fun with this one! Point-and-click adventure games are a bit of a rarity these days so it's always refreshing to play through a new one. I found the puzzles pretty clever, and enjoyed exploring the cabin to find the clues for them. The hint system that reveals the solutions incrementally was also very nice and not something I've seen before.
I'd say the only thing that felt a bit off to me was avoiding the killer as I didn't seem to have enough time to escape to another room before they got me, but that could also be part of the fun. That mostly just happened when reading through the scraps of paper, and it did give me some fun urgency to piece it together quickly. Overall though I really enjoyed what you all put together!
